On September 30, 2014 @ 9:47 a.m an Anonymous Commenter wrote the following on my blog, which can be seen at the end of my Post HERE.

“Why do you ignore the parable of the wheat and the tares?
Jesus clearly says that the tares will be gathered first and cast into the fire. then the wheat. One harvest not 2 or 3 as you propose. (I already addressed this Point #1 in my first Post seen HERE)

The saints who did not worship the beast, or take his mark take part in the first resurrection, so the anti-Christ and the great tribulation are already in play before the first resurrection. Do you claim there is a resurrection or rapture before the 1st resurrection? The dead in Christ will rise first then those who remain will be caught up in the air to meet Him and be with the Lord forever.

I am pretty sure that would include Daniel. (I will answer these statements in this Post.)

Also important to note that in the book of Daniel he told when he will rise to his reward. chapter 12; 13 But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.”

The end of days is pretty clear. And if the dead in Christ rise first that includes Daniel, how can the church go before them? (Again, I will be answering these statements in this Post.)

The parable of the 10 virgins states that the 5 who were not ready when He came for them, went out and filled their lamps but were not allowed to enter after they filled them. This would imply that after the harvest or rapture it is too late for salvation. (The Foolish Virgins are too late to be taken Up in the Rapture … but they are still given the opportunity to obey Christ, and so be saved from eternal Hell, during the time that God’s Wrath is poured upon the Earth. I went into detail about this in my first Post, seen HERE)

The great tribulation is when the Christians are persecuted, at the hands of the anit-christ [sic]. God’s wrath comes to those who persecuted them. The saints will be passed over by God’s wrath just as the Jews where passed over by God’s wrath in Egypt. Because their door posts where covered by blood just as we are covered by the Blood of Jesus today.” (I believe I provide enough Scriptures in Post #1 and in this Post #2 which show that God REMOVES the True Bride of Christ from the Earth and from the coming Wrath … but readers may also read my Post HERE, which may show the Scriptures more clearly)

.

I repeat, this Commenter asks, “Do you claim there is a resurrection or rapture before the 1st resurrection?”

.

The “First Resurrection”, which this comment refers to, is found in Revelation 20, which reads:
1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; …
4 Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection.

We see that this “First Resurrection” mentioned in Revelation 20 takes place after the entire Tribulation and Wrath of God period.   Satan is finally bound, and those who had been beheaded for Jesus’ sake and had not received the mark of the beast, will come to life and reign with Christ for a thousand years.

.

So, is this the “first resurrection” in the way that we understand the word “first” or is this “first resurrection” a term used by God to mean something different?

.

I think this is a good and important question, and I will give my answer as I work my way through the below Chapters of the Book of Revelation, so that I can lay a clear foundation for my answer.

.

I will start in Revelation 6 where we see that the Seals, which begin the first set of Judgements, are opened. Then we read at the end of Revelation 6, that the Wrath of God is about to be poured upon the Earth as it reads:
12 I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood; 13 and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind. 14 The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains; 16 and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;
17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

Note how the of the Wrath of God begins at the END of the seals being opened (vs 17).

 .

As I wrote in a previous Post (seen HERE), Revelation 6 follows right along with what Jesus taught in Matthew 24:4-31.   And in verse 29,  we must take careful note that Jesus states:

29 “But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 “And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory. 31 And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

Note that immediately after the tribulation of the days of Judgement, and BEFORE the WRATH OF GOD (we’ll see this more clearly soon), Jesus will appear in the Sky (Matthew 24:30) and Jesus will send His angels to gather His elect (Matthew 24:31).

.

Also notice that Jesus is not returning in this Matthew 24 lesson to destroy the kings of the earth yet (as He does at the End of Revelation and/or at the end of the Wrath of God), but He is simply appearing in order to send His angels forth to gather His elect.

.

This is the Pre-Wrath RAPTURE of the faithful church. For Matthew 24 goes on to read:

…so will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 “Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. 41 “Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.

Notice how one will be taken in the Rapture, and one will be left behind?!

.

.

Jesus then goes on to teach in Matthew 24:42-51, that the hypocrite servant … or more plainly, the hypocrite Christian … will be left behind by the Master during this Rapture time-period, and the hypocrite servant/Christian will find himself “weeping and gnashing (his) teeth” due to his realization that he has been left behind!!!

.

This is a most terrible and terrifying time for the lukewarm, unprepared, hypocrite, sin-loving, Christian who is later described as a “foolish virgin” in Matthew 25!! … Let all readers please take this to heart!!   (You may read my detailed post on the difference between Eternal Hell and the time of “weeping and gnashing of teeth” HERE.)

.

Now let’s go back to the book of Revelation and the question,  is the “first resurrection” in Revelation 20:5 the time where the Church and Old Testament saints will be reurrected to be with the Lord.

.

 Revelation 7

.

We go on to read that after the Tribulation times of Revelation 6, we see a revival of Jews in Revelation 7 where many Jews are Born Again or “sealed”.

.

Why do I call these Jews “saved”?  Because when comparing this Revelation 7 term “sealed” with another Biblical example of being sealed, we see that to be “sealed” by God, means one has been Born Again and receives the “seal” of God’s Holy Spirit. See Ephesains 1:13.

.

We then see a GREAT MULTITUDE in heaven after the salvation of these Jews.    And we are told that this great multitude is, in fact,  those who have come out of the great tribulation, in Revelation 7:14.  It reads:

9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; …

13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?” 14 I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 “For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. 16 “They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; 17 for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

Could this be the Rapture of the Church mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15:50-53 and in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3?

.

I say YES, because we see that that:
1 – the anti-christ is revealed with the opening of the first seal in Revelation 6:2;
and we see that
2 – wars are indeed covering the earth in Revelation 6:4;

3 – we see famines and pestilences in Revelation 6:6 & 8;
and

4 – we sadly see Martyrdom in Revelation 6:11.

.

Everything that Jesus said would happen before His appearance in the sky to Rapture His faithful Church! (again see Matthew 24 above.)

.

So, when I say that the Rapture of the faithful Church occurs BEFORE the Wrath of God, I do not mean that the Church will not see any of the trouble that Jesus fore-warned us about!   Rather, I believe that I prove that the Scriptures simply shows that the Church is taken FROM the Earth when the Wrath of God begins.    I believe this is something that the Bible states over and over as seen in:

…wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come
– 1 Thessalonians 1:10

or

Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth
– Revelation 3:10

And again, we should remind ourselves that Jesus said:

And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
– Matthew 24:31 …

at which time:

… there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.
– Matthew 24:40,41

Again … one will be taken in the Rapture, and one will be left behind!

.

The next chapters in Revelation  go on to show how terrible time on Earth will be for people, as God’s Wrath is poured upon the Earth.

.

Included in this population on the Earth are “saints“,   because some of the lukewarm, foolish virgins/church people who were left behind will now cry out to God and become true Believers.

.

Sadly, they waited until this time period to give their lives over to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and obedience to His Word.   And sadly, they will have to suffer … along with the Jews … for their disobedience.

.

A Resurrection is shown in
Revelation 11

.

We see in Revelation 11 that God’s 2 witnesses / prophets will be killed and resurrected here, BEFORE the ‘first resurrection’ of Revelation 20:5.    Hey, wait!!  … this means that there really is a resurrection mentioned  before the resurrection of Revelation 20:5 … and I think this is pretty strong evidence that the Revelation 20 “first resurrection” is not what some think and that God uses terms in a way that may be hidden and mysterious to some.

.

For we see in Revelation 11 that not only is there a resurrection which does not include all Saints, but Revelation 11 also teaches of yet another Rapture which does not include the Church:

11 But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God came into them (resurrection), and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were watching them. 12 And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” Then they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies watched them (rapture).

.
.

And what about the 7th Trumpet
in Revelation 11

Here is another use of wording by God which has some people confused, for some think that because the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15, along with Jesus in Matthew 24, teach that at the sound of a trumpet the Church will be Raptured,  that this 7th and final trumpet of Judgement shown in Revelation 11 must be the same trumpet that proclaims the Rapture of the Church.

.

They are wrong in thinking this since both Jesus in Matthew 24:15, and the Apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:3, show that the point in time in which the Church will be Raptured  is immediately after the revealing of the Anti-Christ!!

.

But will it be the Church only who will have understanding that this is THE man of whom the Church has been warned about?    Perhaps,  for Matthew 24 reads:

15“Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place  (let the reader understand) ...

.

And so, quite probably, the world and the lukewarm church will continue along in ignorance, the True Church will then be Raptured, and then the Wrath of God will begin to be poured upon all who remain.

.

Think also on this:
If this Revelation 11:15 trumpet was THE trumpet to call up the Church, then why wouldn’t John see this, in his very detailed description of the End Days events?

.

I repeat that this is therefore not the same Trumpet that calls up the Rapture Ready Church.

.

Revelation 12 — the Over-view

Revelation 12 then goes on to tell an over-view of the History of the fight between Jesus and satan, and between satan and God’s people, before going onward to detail the completion of the Wrath of God and the power that satan will be given over the saints on the earth.

.

Chapter 12 is where the Mark of the Beast occurs, and so I would warn anyone reading this Post … should it still be found on-line at that time … PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST, even as an angel will warn at that time:

9 Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11  “And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” 12 Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.
– Revelation 14

Another Resurrection in Revelation 14?

.

We saw that the 2 witnesses / prophets were resurrected and raptured in Revelation 11, and now in Revelation 14 we see that the 144,000 Jews … who were sealed and Born Again in Revelation 7 … are now with Christ Jesus.
.
What happened? Were they raptured? Were they martyred and then resurrected? It is not clear, but I believe either could be possible … especially since we have already seen God resurrect and rapture the 2 witnesses in Revelation 11.

.

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb
Revelation 19

.

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Revelation 19 then goes on to show us again that  there is a large multitude of saints already in Heaven before the Revelation 20:5 “first resurrection” and it is this multitude that gets to partake in the  Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

.

Question to my Commenter … or anyone else who holds a post-tribulation Rapture belief:
Who would be at this Marriage Supper of the Lamb,
if the Church was not already Raptured and Resurrected?

.

And then after this Supper, Revelation tells us that it is then time for Christ and His Holy Ones to fight the final fight on the Earth.

.

 Question to post-tribulation rapture believers:
Who is the army that Christ returns with, if no-one is Raptured or Resurrected yet?
.

Finally, we arrive at Revelation 20 … the Chapter in which my Commenter alludes to, which reads:
4 Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.

What could this “first resurrection” really be, since I believe I have shown in this Post that the True Church was already Raptured and resurrected, even as taught in 1 Corinthians 15?

.

I believe that this could be the resurrection of the saints who died during the time of the Wrath of God, which occurs between Revelation 7 to Revelation 20.    Revelation 20 also shows us that satan is finally bound (Revelation 20:1-3), and so we can see that God is starting a new era in His time-table.

.

In my studies, when comparing all the Scriptures which talk about the Rapture … and not just taking one verse like Revelation 20:5 all by itself and making a doctrine out of it … I believe that I can see this Revelation 20:5 verse being the “first resurrection” of the new era in which satan is bound.

.

These saints, who went through the Wrath of God time-period,  are now raised to life and will reign on Earth with Christ for 1,000 years … along with the Old Testament Saints and the True Church, all of whom were Resurrected and Raptured before the Wrath of God was poured upon the Earth.

.

Hallelujah.  A new era, wherein righteousness will dwell!!

.

People will still have the free-will and ability to disobey and rebel against Christ when He rules on Earth (see Revelation 20:7-10 for just one example!) and so the time of Judgment shown in Revelation 20:11-14 could be the time for judgment of the Millennial people, who lived and/or died during the Millennial Age…the true “Millennials” 🙂

.

Whatever the Truth really is about all of this, remains to be fully revealed by the Lord in His time … I will not be so arrogant as to say that I know all of this completely and fully … but I am quite confident that I have taken the time to prove that there is a difference between the gathering of unbelievers to be cast into Hell VS the gathering of unbelievers AND lukewarm, foolish Christians who will be Left Behind to endure the Wrath of God (again, you can read about this further on  my Post HERE), and I believe I have laid out the Scriptures clearly enough times on this Blog to show that God Raptures Christ’s True Bride BEFORE God starts pouring out His Wrath (read one of my Posts HERE to show some Scriptures and a time-line which supports that statement).

.

Whatever your final thoughts and beliefs are, let’s firstly remind ourselves, and each other, to keep looking for the Glorious Appearing of our Lord and Savior, and let us remember to keep ourselves pure for His Return.
And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
– 1 John 3:3
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.
– Revelation 20:17

Below is a video by Jacob Prasch, who goes line-upon-line through the entire Chapter 3 of 2 Timothy which starts by reading:

1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.

And ends with:

14 You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

Jacob has much to say about the current state of the Church, if you are not familiar with this man, and I find his teachings not only enlightening but at times convicting … just what any true Believer needs and encourages, for growth in their life.

May you be blessed by this teaching, and go on to find many more of Jacob’s teachings to teach yourself from anything regarding the Book of Revelation and the Anti-Christ to any one of the Jewish Feasts, as well as teachings to lead you out of deceptive teachings found in the current Church.

And may you and I both, continue in the things found only in the Holy Scripture … even as 2 Timothy 3:14-17 says … which is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness. Amen.

I see that many are finding my Blog by using the key words “Joseph Prince Rapture”, and so I thought I would google these words myself and give a listen to what Joseph Prince is saying about the Rapture.

I came across a September 2014 teaching on YouTube (posted below) and I would like to discuss a couple of the points that he is teaching.

Joseph Prince stated that he wanted to discuss the “Partial Rapture Theory “. Joseph stated that a Believer who “sometimes stumbles” and who “sometimes sins” looses their hope in the Rapture when taught this theory, because such a person is under condemnation.

Joseph then went on to say in this video, that a partial rapture theory is not biblical and that the ONLY criteria for a Believer to go up in the Rapture is this: that you are a Believer who is alive. And he basis this statement on 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, with his emphasis on verse 15 which reads:

For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. – 1 Thessalonians 4:15

Joseph emphasizes that this verse DOES NOT say “we who are faithful” will be caught up with the Lord, and it does not teach “we who are over-comers” will be caught up with the Lord, and then loudly proclaims THE ONLY requirement for the rapture that this verse mentions is “we who are ALIVE and remain”.

Joseph Prince then goes on to state that there are different levels of consecration and/or commitment among Believers, and he asks who gave anyone the right to determine “what level of faithfulness will cause you to be going up” to the Lord, when the Apostle Paul speaking “by the word of the Lord” simply states that it is “we who are alive and remain”.

Now, I ask you honestly, readers … is the whole Truth? And is this sound Bible teaching?

By pulling only one Scripture from the Bible, I could make up any number of teachings and say, “Look! It is truth. The Bible says so!”

So, what does the Bible really teach about the lifestyle of a Believer concerning the Rapture?

Of course the Bible does not teach that one moment you are saved and the next you are not saved when you sin (see 1 John 1:10 to confirm that this is Truth), BUT the True Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ does indeed teach that True Believes will lead godly lives and that those who refuse to do so will miss out on the Rapture. Yes, the Bible actually teaches that there is a PARTIAL RAPTURE for those who are READY, or WISE virgins as seen in this one Passage of Scripture (and yes, there are other Passages which teach this):

1 – “Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 “Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. … 6 “But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.7 “Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. 8 “The foolish said to the prudent, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 “But the prudent answered, ‘No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 “And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. 11 “Later the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us.’ 12 “But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 “Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour. – Matthew 25

Believers are called “virgins” in the Epistle of Paul to the Corinthian church when he writes:

…for I betrothed you to one husband, so that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin. – 2 Corinthians 11:2

… and so we see in Matthew 25, that we can be wise virgins who will be allowed to go up in the Rapture and into the presence of our Bridegroom, or we can be foolish virgins who will indeed MISS the Rapture of the Church if we do not keep our ‘lamps lit”.

You see, dear reader, Joseph Prince is WRONG. And I take absolutely no delight in reporting this, since a very, very dear relative of mine chooses to receive spiritual nourishment only through Joseph Prince’s teachings. And this very, very close and dear relative of mine … along with thousands of others … is being lured to sleep, and is being allowed to walk in lukewarmness … and perhaps even in sin … in their Christian walk because of Joseph Prince.

But if the above Bible verse shows that there is indeed a partial rapture for those who are ready, then what are the requirements that the Lord is looking for in His people, in order to be Rapture Ready?

Below are just a few passages of Scripture which show how a wise Believer must walk.
The True Word of God teaches that Believers must learn to over-come the lusts of their flesh:

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. – Romans 8:1, KJV

The True Word of God goes on to warn that:

5 – For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 – For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 – Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 – So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. – Romans 8, KJV

The True Word of God also states this, as written by the very half-brother of Jesus:

You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. – James 4:4

And the True Word of God teaches this:

7 – Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; 8 – the one who practices sin is of the devil – 1 John 3

Please dear readers, do not let any man rob you of your reward which is the Rapture of your body should you be alive when Christ Returns, and please let no man rob you of your reward which is Eternal Life with the Lord Jesus, Who taught us this:

… he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me – Matthew 10:38 (see also Mark 8:34, Luke 9:23, and Luke 14:27)

There are many teachers and preachers today who teach that NO MATTER HOW ONE LIVES, if one simply believes in the Lord Jesus Christ they are eternally saved. However, many, many Scriptures teach differently (some can be found in my Category entitled Holiness: Is It Necessary For Salvation?) and if you are serious about your Eternal Salvation, I would challenge you to search through the Scriptures for the Truth! Please.

Holiness does not mean being perfect every moment, and that the moment you stumble you are doomed to Hell … but holiness does mean a willingness to obey God’s holy requirements and “practice righteousness … even as He is righteous”.

Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous – 1 John 3:7

By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother. – 1 John 3:10

Run after righteousness and holiness, dear reader. Make it your first and foremost goal! By doing such you will have a great reward in this life and in the life to come!

… godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come – 1 Timothy 4:8

3 – If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness, 4 – he is conceited and understands nothing; – 1 Timothy 6

Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness – 2 Timothy 2:19

11 – For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 – It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age – Titus 2, NIV
