Below are some Scriptures which show that the life of a Christian parallels the life of Christ:  His life, His death, His resurrection are all examples of how the True Disciple will live!

CHRIST’S DAILY LIFE AS A SERVANT

If we really want to be like Jesus on this Earth, we should remember that He was humble, He was obedient to God’s will always, and He came to serve man-kind.

Philippians 2, ESV

5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

In the same way that Christ served God and man, so Christians must desire to be humble, we must desire to do God’s will, and we must desire to serve others.

Matthew 23, ESV

11 The greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

Philippians 2, ESV

3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus…

CHRIST’S EXAMPLE OF FAITH

The Lord Jesus Christ did not just tell us what to “do” in order to be saved, but He showed us “how” to do it.

Hebrews 12, ESV

2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

“Eyes on the prize, Eyes on the prize” is the pep-talk that I give to myself when things are difficult.  By keeping my eyes on the prize … which is the salvation of my soul (1 Peter 1:9) … I can keep myself encouraged to not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9), even as Jesus did in order to get through the shame and agony of the Cross.

CHRIST’S DEATH

The Old Testament Prophets and the New Testament writers tell us of Christ’s death by crucifixion.   How many Believers today know, or understand, that we too must die to our own wills and live only for God and for God’s purpose?

Galatians 2, ESV

20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Luke 9:23, ESV

23 And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

Christ speaks of a DAILY dying to our own wants and desires in order to follow Christ and do God’s will,  and if we will follow this pattern of putting our flesh and desires to death daily, we can then expect to be resurrected in the same way that Christ was.

CHRIST’S RESURRECTION

Hosea 6, ESV

1 “Come, let us return to the Lord; for he has torn us, that he may heal us; he has struck us down, and he will bind us up.
2 After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, that we may live before him.

Even as the Lord Jesus was raised from the dead on the third day, so the Body of Christ will be raised on the “third day”.

According to 2 Peter 3, 1 day is like 1,000 years and so it is thought that the resurrection of the Body of Christ (which is the resurrection of True Believers from the grave, along with the rapture of True Believers who are alive from the Earth … 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17) will occur during the “third day”, or the third millennium, after Christ’s death:

2 Peter 8, ESV

8 But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

But can any of us expect to be resurrected like Christ was, if we will not follow the other patterns of Christ? The pattern of faith to over-come hard trials, the pattern of obedience to God and denying our own desires?  Can any of us really believe that we will be resurrected like Jesus Christ without living like Jesus Christ?

We can live assured that if we LIVE like Jesus Christ, we will indeed be resurrected like Jesus Christ, because the life of every True Believe is to follow Christ’s pattern and be a living example to the world of Who Jesus Christ really is.

1 John 4, ESV

17 By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world.

1 John 2, ESV

6whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.

…for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
2 Corinthians 3:6b, NIV

This piece of Scripture has been quoted to me, more than once, when I make the statement that “I am trying to literally follow what the New Testament says to do” as I try to deal with sinning brothers, or when I defend my departing from fellow believers who are divisive or gossips or sexual immoral, or when I defend my staying away from teachers and their followers who are embracing new twists on the Gospel.

When the above Scripture is quoted to me, the insinuation is that my stand on the Word is legalistic and harsh and the ones who quote this Scripture are wishing that I would just “walk in love” or “walk in unity“.

It has been said to my face that I am “not loving as Christ loved” when I am departing from people and/or congregations.

The Veil is Torn

But is that what 2 Corinthians 3:6b really means?  Isn’t the entire Word supposed to support and uphold the same meaning and teachings throughout the whole Bible?  Now of course, I understand that the Old Covenant’s external rules and regulations have been replaced with the New Covenant’s internal rules which deal with our heart attitudes,  but does that mean that we are now free to swim around in sin without guilt or party with sinners since we all are under grace now and commanded to love?

No, is the answer to these questions and this is the debate the Apostle Paul confronted head-on while in ministry and in his written letters.

1– What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?
2– By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
Romans 6:1, NIV

and

14– Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
15– What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
16– What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God.
2 Corinthians 6, NIV

But besides my having to deal with carnal Christians’ incorrect interpretation of 2 Corinthians 3:6b, this verse recently got me thinking about how one is to LIVE by the Spirit of God vs living under a heavy-handed and condemning legalistic preaching or way of thinking.

For by white-knuckling our way through life, by seeing God as a hard task-master, and by obeying the do’s and don’ts of the New Testament without the fruit of the Spirit growing in us, we can experience condemnation and death.  The letter will indeed kill all joy and peace and even the desire to live holy as we try to obey God in our own strength!

And this is a grim, unpleasant, hard, and unhappy way to follow God.  I know, because I lived that way for the first 7 or so years of my Christian walk.

But after one is enlightened to understand that the power of the Holy Spirit can and will equip you to walk freed from sin, while cleansing you when you do slip and stumble, one can be filled with great joy and peace while patiently and steadfastly obeying God.

16– So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. …
22– But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23– gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Galatians 5, NIV

and

1– Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
3– For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
4– When Christ, who is yourlife, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Colossians 3, NIV

According to these above 2 passages of Scripture, if we will set our minds on the things of God and pursue those things, then we will be focusing on His love, His peace, His joy, His promises, and His love, and His character … and all other things that are “above” … rather than only focusing on the “do this and don’t do that” set of rules of the New Testament.  And as we do this,  the pleasures and the things of this Earth “will grow strangely dim”, as the great old hymn stated.  Or in other words, we will be so Heavenly focused that the Earthly temptations won’t have as strong a pull on us, as we set our hearts and affections on God alone.

So yes, of course the LETTER kills.  Rules and Regulations are condemning, for the sinful flesh fails at keeping rules and regulations and wants to rebel, even as Paul taught.

14-We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin.
15-I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.
Romans 7, NIV

BUT as we learn to live our lives led by The Spirit of God, filled with the fruit of the Spirit of God, keeping on minds on what the Spirit desires, we will see that obeying God’s commands are definitely NOT burdensome.  If we can learn to keep our minds on the glory that is to come, and learn to remember that pleasing God has great benefit in this life and also in the life that is coming, then we can joyfully carry out the commands and desires of the Lord … which is exactly what the New Testament teaches in every letter!

2-This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands.
3-In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,
4-for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
1 John 5, NIV

God’s ways will not be burdensome, but we will be encouraged as we grow in holiness, peace, and

We love Him
because He first loved us
1 John 4:19

joy knowing that we are pleasing the Father Who purchased us with the blood of His Son and we will grow in self-control, assurance and in joy as we continually look forward to being made more like Jesus Christ and as we look forward to seeing Him face to Face.   What a glorious day that will be!

3– We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. …
5– But if anyone obeys his word, love for God
is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him:
6– Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did. …

15– Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.
16– For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.
17– The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. …
28– And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.
29If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him.
1 John 2, NIV

If living for God, by keeping all the commands that He has written for us, is not a joy-filled experience for you I pray that you will start to pray and seek God’s face to make it such for yourself.  Ask Him to help you sanctify your thoughts so that you can see the beauty of purity and holiness and so that you can have your mind steadfastly set on the reward that is coming to those who love purity and long for Christ’s Return.  Meditate on the promised Glory that is coming to those who love God so that the desires and thoughts of sin will have less hold on you.  By doing this you will be making sure that you have a grand entrance into the next life!
5– For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;
6– and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;
7– and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.
8– For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9– But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.
10– Therefore, my brothers and sisters,
make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble,
11– and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 1, NIV

Below is a video by Jacob Prasch, who goes line-upon-line through the entire Chapter 3 of 2 Timothy which starts by reading:

1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.

And ends with:

14 You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

Jacob has much to say about the current state of the Church, if you are not familiar with this man, and I find his teachings not only enlightening but at times convicting … just what any true Believer needs and encourages, for growth in their life.

May you be blessed by this teaching, and go on to find many more of Jacob’s teachings to teach yourself from anything regarding the Book of Revelation and the Anti-Christ to any one of the Jewish Feasts, as well as teachings to lead you out of deceptive teachings found in the current Church.

And may you and I both, continue in the things found only in the Holy Scripture … even as 2 Timothy 3:14-17 says … which is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness. Amen.

I see that many are finding my Blog by using the key words “Joseph Prince Rapture”, and so I thought I would google these words myself and give a listen to what Joseph Prince is saying about the Rapture.

I came across a September 2014 teaching on YouTube (posted below) and I would like to discuss a couple of the points that he is teaching.

Joseph Prince stated that he wanted to discuss the “Partial Rapture Theory “. Joseph stated that a Believer who “sometimes stumbles” and who “sometimes sins” looses their hope in the Rapture when taught this theory, because such a person is under condemnation.

Joseph then went on to say in this video, that a partial rapture theory is not biblical and that the ONLY criteria for a Believer to go up in the Rapture is this: that you are a Believer who is alive. And he basis this statement on 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, with his emphasis on verse 15 which reads:

For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. – 1 Thessalonians 4:15

Joseph emphasizes that this verse DOES NOT say “we who are faithful” will be caught up with the Lord, and it does not teach “we who are over-comers” will be caught up with the Lord, and then loudly proclaims THE ONLY requirement for the rapture that this verse mentions is “we who are ALIVE and remain”.

Joseph Prince then goes on to state that there are different levels of consecration and/or commitment among Believers, and he asks who gave anyone the right to determine “what level of faithfulness will cause you to be going up” to the Lord, when the Apostle Paul speaking “by the word of the Lord” simply states that it is “we who are alive and remain”.

Now, I ask you honestly, readers … is the whole Truth? And is this sound Bible teaching?

By pulling only one Scripture from the Bible, I could make up any number of teachings and say, “Look! It is truth. The Bible says so!”

So, what does the Bible really teach about the lifestyle of a Believer concerning the Rapture?

Of course the Bible does not teach that one moment you are saved and the next you are not saved when you sin (see 1 John 1:10 to confirm that this is Truth), BUT the True Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ does indeed teach that True Believes will lead godly lives and that those who refuse to do so will miss out on the Rapture. Yes, the Bible actually teaches that there is a PARTIAL RAPTURE for those who are READY, or WISE virgins as seen in this one Passage of Scripture (and yes, there are other Passages which teach this):

1 – “Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 “Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. … 6 “But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.7 “Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. 8 “The foolish said to the prudent, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 “But the prudent answered, ‘No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 “And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. 11 “Later the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us.’ 12 “But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 “Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour. – Matthew 25

Believers are called “virgins” in the Epistle of Paul to the Corinthian church when he writes:

…for I betrothed you to one husband, so that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin. – 2 Corinthians 11:2

… and so we see in Matthew 25, that we can be wise virgins who will be allowed to go up in the Rapture and into the presence of our Bridegroom, or we can be foolish virgins who will indeed MISS the Rapture of the Church if we do not keep our ‘lamps lit”.

You see, dear reader, Joseph Prince is WRONG. And I take absolutely no delight in reporting this, since a very, very dear relative of mine chooses to receive spiritual nourishment only through Joseph Prince’s teachings. And this very, very close and dear relative of mine … along with thousands of others … is being lured to sleep, and is being allowed to walk in lukewarmness … and perhaps even in sin … in their Christian walk because of Joseph Prince.

But if the above Bible verse shows that there is indeed a partial rapture for those who are ready, then what are the requirements that the Lord is looking for in His people, in order to be Rapture Ready?

Below are just a few passages of Scripture which show how a wise Believer must walk.
The True Word of God teaches that Believers must learn to over-come the lusts of their flesh:

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. – Romans 8:1, KJV

The True Word of God goes on to warn that:

5 – For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 – For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 – Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 – So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. – Romans 8, KJV

The True Word of God also states this, as written by the very half-brother of Jesus:

You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. – James 4:4

And the True Word of God teaches this:

7 – Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; 8 – the one who practices sin is of the devil – 1 John 3

Please dear readers, do not let any man rob you of your reward which is the Rapture of your body should you be alive when Christ Returns, and please let no man rob you of your reward which is Eternal Life with the Lord Jesus, Who taught us this:

… he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me – Matthew 10:38 (see also Mark 8:34, Luke 9:23, and Luke 14:27)

There are many teachers and preachers today who teach that NO MATTER HOW ONE LIVES, if one simply believes in the Lord Jesus Christ they are eternally saved. However, many, many Scriptures teach differently (some can be found in my Category entitled Holiness: Is It Necessary For Salvation?) and if you are serious about your Eternal Salvation, I would challenge you to search through the Scriptures for the Truth! Please.

Holiness does not mean being perfect every moment, and that the moment you stumble you are doomed to Hell … but holiness does mean a willingness to obey God’s holy requirements and “practice righteousness … even as He is righteous”.

Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous – 1 John 3:7

By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother. – 1 John 3:10

Run after righteousness and holiness, dear reader. Make it your first and foremost goal! By doing such you will have a great reward in this life and in the life to come!

… godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come – 1 Timothy 4:8

3 – If anyone advocates a different doctrine and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness, 4 – he is conceited and understands nothing; – 1 Timothy 6

Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness – 2 Timothy 2:19

11 – For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 – It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age – Titus 2, NIV

Hebrews 10 says:

26 – For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
27 – but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES.
28 – Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
29 – How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
30 – For we know Him who said, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY.” And again, “THE LORD WILL JUDGE HIS PEOPLE.”
31 – It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Fight for your freedom.
Don’t take on-going sin in your life lightly.
Take to fasting and prayer, in your fight for freedom, if need be.
Make freedom from on-going and persistent sin, your goal and desire.
Fear God and hate evil.

Christ was brutally punished and died so that you could be freed from the power of sin (Romans 6), so please do not treat Christ’s blood as ‘common’ (NLT) and insult God’s Spirit of grace.

The UK’s Daily Mail has written:
“A swarm of an estimated 30million insects has been devastating crops in Egypt, fuelling [sic] apocalyptic fears because of the infestation’s proximity to the Bible story of Passover in which a swarm of locusts, the eighth of ten plagues, is imposed on Egyptians by God for enslaving and abusing ancient Hebrews.”

Article and photo from the Daily Mail, UK HERE

One commenter summed the event up, for me, when writing:

[I’m] Not religious, but the world is beginning to look like the bible …

Indeed, the world is beginning to look like the Bible … “beginning” being a key word, for things will get much worse:

Passover plague: The bugs have fueled apocalyptic fears because of the
infestation’s proximity to the Bible story of Passover in which a swarm
of locusts, the eighth of ten plagues, is imposed on Egyptians by God
for enslaving and abusing ancient Hebrews

Revelation 9–

3 And out of the smoke locusts came down upon the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth.
4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
5 They were not given power to kill them, but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes a man.
6 During those days men will seek death, but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them. …

20 The rest of mankind that were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk.
21 Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.

Dear Reader, won’t you repent of your sins and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ today so that you may escape the coming Wrath of God?

Acts 3 —

19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,
20 and that He may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus.
21 He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as He promised long ago through His holy prophets.

We do not know how much longer it will be before we see the Lord Jesus Christ returning to rule the Earth, so it would be wisest to turn from sin and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ now, to avoid the Wrath that is coming and receive the above promised “times of refreshing” now, rather than waiting.

Mark 13 —

28 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.
29 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that it is near, right at the door.
30 I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Indeed, it would be wise for everyone to make sure we are ready for Christ’s Return!

How can we know when the THE END of this Age is actually upon us?

What will be the signs of THE END of this Age?

This question has been asked for generations and many in each generation, seeing what trouble and/or terrible injustices are taking place around them during their lives, have wondered if they were witnessing The End of The Age.

But Jesus made it clear what the Signs would be, the progression of the Signs, and even foretold that the Generation who witnesses all the Signs taking place would be THE Generation to witness The End.  All we have to do is look to the Bible to read what the Signs will be.

But many say to me, “Such signs have always been happening, throughout the many generations, so you can’t be sure THIS is The End of the Age“.

Yes, this is true, but have the Signs currently started happening in greater extremes?  Did the Signs ever in the past, start happening closer together, in closer time periods, and were any of the Signs that Jesus spoke of all happening at the exact same time?

Jesus said the Signs of The End would come as BIRTH PAINS (Matthew 24:8) and birth pains, as we know, start to come QUICKER together and they become more EXTREME or intense in their volume / pain.  Birth pains are very large, very painful, and come together most rapidly right before the “Child is revealed“.

And so today I post a video below.  This one video is a quick snapshot of the world’s natural disasters, or strange occurrences, which have occurred in the month of DECEMBER 2012 ONLY.   It shows how large and extreme the natural disasters are becoming upon the face of the Earth and how such large disasters are becoming more frequent.

Again, Jesus warned that natural disasters, and wars and revolutions, were the BEGINNING of the Birth Pains of the End of the Age.  And so we should heed His other warnings recorded in Matthew 24:

32“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.33Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Jesus is warning the World about all the events which WILL be happening right before His Return.   Read Matthew 24.  Study the other Passages which also tell of the Signs that will be taking place just before Christ’s Return.  Matthew 24:9 tells that PERSECUTION comes right after the initial Birth Pains take place … and the initial Birth Pains is seemingly what we are currently seeing take place all over the Earth.  So please, make sure your life is right with the Lord Jesus Christ and that you are not asleep, lukewarm, or backslidden.

Matthew 24 —

42“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

45“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ 49and he then begins to beat his fellow servants (1 John 3:15) and to eat and drink with drunkards50The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. 51He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

So many refuse to believe that a Christian can wind up in Hell.  But really, what does Matthew 24:48-51 tell us?  It tells us that a lifestyle of living for self, hating and hurting the brethren, and eating and playing with drunkards will wind us up in Hell with the other hypocrites…”where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth“.

So please my dear brothers and sisters, whether you believe you can loose your salvation or not, will you at least see that the Signs of The End of This Age are upon us … they are here with great intensity and in greater frequency … and make sure you are living in a way that is pleasing to the Lord Jesus Christ?  So what if I am wrong and The End of This Age is still many hundreds of years away … YOUR END is more near today than it was yesterday.  So won’t you please make sure you are ready to meet the Lord?

1 John 3 —

But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

2 Peter 3 —

10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.a11Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.

May God bless all who read this post with the wisdom to prepare themselves for the Return of the Lord and for the Judgment Seat of Christ.   Amen.
