The UK’s Daily Mail has written:
“A swarm of an estimated 30million insects has been devastating crops in Egypt, fuelling [sic] apocalyptic fears because of the infestation’s proximity to the Bible story of Passover in which a swarm of locusts, the eighth of ten plagues, is imposed on Egyptians by God for enslaving and abusing ancient Hebrews.”

One commenter summed the event up, for me, when writing:

[I’m] Not religious, but the world is beginning to look like the bible …

Indeed, the world is beginning to look like the Bible … “beginning” being a key word, for things will get much worse:

Revelation 9–

3 And out of the smoke locusts came down upon the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth.
4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
5 They were not given power to kill them, but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes a man.
6 During those days men will seek death, but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them. …

20 The rest of mankind that were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk.
21 Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.

Dear Reader, won’t you repent of your sins and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ today so that you may escape the coming Wrath of God?

Acts 3 —

19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,
20 and that He may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus.
21 He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as He promised long ago through His holy prophets.

We do not know how much longer it will be before we see the Lord Jesus Christ returning to rule the Earth, so it would be wisest to turn from sin and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ now, to avoid the Wrath that is coming and receive the above promised “times of refreshing” now, rather than waiting.

Mark 13 —

28 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.
29 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that it is near, right at the door.
30 I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Indeed, it would be wise for everyone to make sure we are ready for Christ’s Return!

Could a new SUPERBUG make antibiotics USELESS?

Recent news reports are now telling us that there is a SUPERBUG which makes antibiotics useless! More fear and doom for the world … all the beginning of sorrows that are to come upon the World before Christ’s Return! read below…

A new superbug could make antibiotics redundant, scientists have warned.

Experts fear the enzyme NDM-1, which lives inside different bacteria and makes them drug resistant, could go global with no new medicine on the horizon to treat the latest threat.

The bug was found in patients in Britain who had contracted it in India and Pakistan after undergoing treatments like cosmetic surgery.

So far about 50 infections have been reported.

NOW is the time for Believers to learn what Christ accomplished on the Cross for us:

He healed us
He broke the curse (of fear, defeat, and sickness) from us
and He promises to heal our diseases

As the world continues to spiral downward in hatred, fear, terrorism, and diseases and disasters, the Believer must dig into the Word and actually BELIEVE the Word. May God bless our study times with revelation knowledge of the protection that we have in Christ.

Swine Flu Cases Overestimated?
CBS News Exclusive:  Study of State Results Finds H1N1 Not As Prevalent As Feared

(CBS)

It’s unknown what patients who tested negative for flu were actually afflicted with since the illness was not otherwise determined. Health experts say it’s assumed the patients had some sort of cold or upper respiratory infection that is just not influenza.

With most cases diagnosed solely on symptoms and risk factors, the H1N1 flu epidemic may seem worse than it is. For example, on Sept. 22, this alarming headline came from Georgetown University in Washington D.C.: “H1N1 Flu Infects Over 250 Georgetown Students.”

H1N1 flu can be deadly and an outbreak of 250 students would be an especially troubling cluster. However, the number of sick students came not from lab-confirmed tests but from “estimates” made by counting “students who went to the Student Health Center with flu symptoms, students who called the H1N1 hotline or the Health Center’s doctor-on-call, and students who went to the hospital’s emergency room.”

Without lab testing, it’s impossible to know how many of the students actually had H1N1 flu. But the statistical trend indicates it was likely much fewer than 250.
