On September 30, 2014 @ 9:47 a.m an Anonymous Commenter
wrote the following on my blog, seen at the end of the Post, HERE:

Why do you ignore the parable of the wheat and the tares?
Jesus clearly says that the tares will be gathered first and cast into the fire. then the wheat. One harvest not 2 or 3 as you propose.  (I will tackle this statement as Point #1 in this post.
Others posts will be made for the other statements, so that I don’t bore readers with too long of a post.)

The saints who did not worship the beast, or take his mark take part in the first resurrection, so the anti-Christ and the great tribulation are already in play before the first resurrection. Do you claim there is a resurrection or rapture before the 1st resurrection? The dead in Christ will rise first then those who remain will be caught up in the air to meet Him and be with the Lord forever.

I am pretty sure that would include Daniel.
(I will tackle this statement as Point #2 in a separate post.)

Also important to note that in the book of Daniel he told when he will rise to his reward. chapter 12; 13 But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.”

The end of days is pretty clear. And if the dead in Christ rise first that includes Daniel, how can the church go before them?
(I will tackle this statement as Point #2 in my second post.)

The parable of the 10 virgins states that the 5 who were not ready when He came for them, went out and filled their lamps but were not allowed to enter after they filled them. This would imply that after the harvest or rapture it is too late for salvation.
(I will tackle this statement as Point #1 in this post.)

The great tribulation is when the Christians are persecuted, at the hands of the anit-christ [sic]. God’s wrath comes to those who persecuted them. The saints will be passed over by God’s wrath just as the Jews where passed over by God’s wrath in Egypt. Because their door posts where covered by blood just as we are covered by the Blood of Jesus today.”  (I will tackle this statement as Point #2 in my second post.)

I think this is an important conversation to have in light of the new LEFT BEHIND movie that is soon to hit the big screen, and I think it is an important conversation to have in light of the recent beheading in Okalahoma, USA (in September 2014 … see HERE) and in light of the first 1st-world ebola victim also appearing in the USA (September 30, 2014 … see HERE).
The “Left Behind” writers, and others like Jack Van Impe, believe the Church will be taken away from the Earth BEFORE any trouble … known as Tribulation in Christian circles … occurs.  They have taught many Believers that the Church will escape ALL of the trouble that is to come upon the Earth, as foretold by Jesus in Matthew 24:13:
“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.”
Believers, therefore, may have many questions right now in light of the recent be-headings taking place, or in light of ebola hitting the mecca of Christianity … Texas!

To have our theology correct regarding when, or if, the Church will be raptured could mean the difference between eternal salvation and eternal damnation for some who think they were supposed to be raptured before any real trouble happens on the Earth, and so they could loose all hope or faith in God and His eternal Word upon hearing about these latest events.

The faith of some truly could be challenged to the point of giving up on God all together, or be challenged to the point of believing the Anti-Christ is actually Christ Jesus as he appears with his lying signs and wonders, and so I wanted to answer in detail this Anonymous Commenter.

With all of that said, I also wanted to remind my readers that I have been reading and

“…they examined the Scriptures every day
to see if what Paul said was true…”
Acts 17:11

re-reading the Word of God … over and over, from cover to cover… since leaving all charismatic churches in June 2012.   And as I read, I continue to ask God to sanctify me from incorrect doctrine and incorrect thinking, as I look to believe God at His Word only and erase false doctrines of man put into my thinking by the many years of sitting in charismatic churches … something that should be done by ALL believers,  by the way, no matter which church/denomination you sit in since no preacher is teaching entirely correct doctrine.

Therefore, my understanding of the Rapture has changed since June 2012, even as readers may discover when reading through my many Posts since the start of this Blog in 2009.
I am therefore open to reading every comment made, and will continue to read and re-read God’s Holy Word, while asking Him to reveal His ways and His plans to me, and I pray every reader of my Blog will do the same.
The time maybe short … or the time of Christ’s Return may still be far away, as we count time … but we all know this, Christ will Return.  And I pray that all of us will desire to be found ready and good students of God’s Holy Word.
And now on to point one, in the comment above … the Commenter wrote:

“Why do you ignore the parable of the wheat and the tares? Jesus clearly says that the tares will be gathered first and cast into the fire. then the wheat. One harvest not 2 or 3 as you propose.”

My answer to this is:
It is in Matthew 13 where Jesus speaks of the tares and the
wheat, of which you write.  Jesus tells us that,
40 – … just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. 41 – The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, 42and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”  (Matthew 13)

Notice His terminology here?
Jesus speaks of a place which He calls a “furnace of fire”, where there will be “weeping and gnashing of teeth”. Jesus also spoke of “weeping and gnashing of teeth” in Matthew 25:30, Matthew 8:12, Luke 13:28, Matthew 24:51,
and Matthew 22:13.  Please read these verses to have the context fresh in your memory as I continue.

Now compare every place that Jesus spoke of “weeping and gnashing of teeth” to the times that Jesus actually spoke of HELL in places like Mark 9:42-48, where He says clearly that hell has “UNQUENCHABLE FIRE” and “their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched”.   See also Matthew 5:30, Matthew 18:8, and Matthew25:41 where Jesus is clear in stating hell has “unquenchable” or “eternal” fire, and note how Jesus names it clearly, “hell”.

The difference in Jesus’ language shows us that He is not talking about the same place in these different teachings, and the difference in His language shows that He is not speaking of the two same time periods of judgment.

In other words, there is a place and a time where there will be “weeping and gnashing of teeth” which is different from the place of hell where there is eternal and unquenchable fire.
So what is the place and/or time of “weeping and gnashing of teeth”?
I believe this is the time when God’s Wrath will be poured upon the Earth, when it will be a dark time (ie: “outer darkness” spoken of by Jesus in Matthew 25:30,
Matthew 22:13, and Matthew 8:12) and when the people who thought they were Christians, but who witness God “shut the door on them” during the rapture (see
Matthew 25:1-13) will be weeping and gnashing their teeth due to their foolishness (as shown in Matthew 25:1-13) which cost them their ability to escape the time of God’s Wrath upon the Earth, in which they will find themselves living in.
BUT … what then is the “furnace of fire” in the teaching of the tares and the wheat?

Matthew 13:42 reads:
“… and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of

This time of fire is the time of the Wrath of God, I believe, which is described by Peter when he writes in 2 Peter 3:7

“But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.”
The tares are being bundled, presently, before our very eyes.  They are being gathered together, FIRST, even as the Commenter wrote.  Being bound together in their foolishness and in their increasing iniquity.  Bound together in the chant of “unity” and “love” as being more important than correct doctrine.  They are being bound together under the banner of “Don’t Judge” but accept homosexuals and every other sin that God states will carry men to Hell, and they are being bound together in every manner of deception which is taking over the churches.  They are being bundled together and growing more hostile to True Believers, and forcing Believers to either compromise and become lukewarm with them, or forcing True Believers to depart and leave them alone in their sins.
The other point made that the Commenter made is:

The parable of the 10 virgins states that the 5 who were not ready when He came for them, went out and filled their lamps but were not allowed to enter after they filled them. This would imply that after the harvest or rapture it is too late for salvation.

The Scripture that this Commenter is refering to is from Matthew 25:1-13.  In context, Jesus is shown as just finishing up with telling His disciples what the Signs of His Return would be in Matthew 24.   And in His speech about the End Days, He mentions a time of reaping once again, in Matthew 24:29-31:

29“But immediately after the tribulation of those days  THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
30“And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory.
31“And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

He continues with His teaching by stating:

36“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.
37For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah.
38“For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,
39and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
40“Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left.
41“Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.

Notice the many statements that Jesus makes:

1 – There will be tribulation BEFORE Christians are taken away (Matthew 24:29)
2 – The inhabitants of the Earth will see Jesus appear in the sky to take His saints away (Matthew 24:30)
3 – The angels of God will indeed gather the saints, as the Commenter mentioned in the “Wheat and Tares” parable (Matthew 24:31)
4 – As in the days of Noah, so shall it be for the Rapture of the Church (Matthew 24:37)
5 – As Noah entered the Ark and was taken away from experiencing the wrath of God, so the ready and prepared Church will be taken away in Rapture (Matthew 24:39), for
6 – One shall be taken and one shall be left (Matthew 24:40)
7 – Indeed, one shall be taken (in Rapture) and one shall be left behind (Matthew 24:41).

If this isn’t clear enough, it is repeated in Luke 17:

24“… so will the Son of Man be in His day. …
26“And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:
27they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
28“It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;
29but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.
30“It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed. …
32“Remember Lot’s wife.
33“Whoever seeks to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.
34“I tell you, on that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left.
35“There will be two women grinding at the same place; one will be taken and the other will be left.

1 – The Rapture will be the glorious “Day of the Son of Man”, Who is Jesus!  It is not a time of God’s Wrath (Luke 17:24)
2 – The Rapture will be like the days of Noah (Luke 17:26)
3 – Noah entered the Ark = Noah was taken away, or separated, from the sinners/unbelievers (Luke 17:27)
4 – And Lot was taken “OUT” of the city (Luke 17:29)
5 – Yes, one will be TAKEN and the other will be left (Luke 17:34)
6 – Again, one will be TAKEN and the other will be left behind (Luke 17:35)

To me, these Scriptures are very clear that the Church will be RAPTURED and taken away from the Earth … not left on the Earth … before the time of God’s Wrath. Also note that the Church will be present during the beginning trouble, or Tribulation, as Jesus mentioned in Matthew 24:29, but after the beginning of trouble, the Church is Raptured and THEN the Wrath of God begins:

Revelation 6 also confirms that there is a time of God’s Wrath which is different from the Tribulation or the Trouble that comes from the Seals being opened, which men will acknowledge, when Revelation 6 teaches:
15Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.
16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!
17  For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”
I will discuss this Commenter’s further comments in my next post … even the point that the Book of Revelation mentions a FIRST resurrection late in the book of Revelation …  as many people do not like to read long-winded posts …  :)

May God bless each reader and sanctify each of us with His Truth!

Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.   – Revelation 3:10

Who is the “King of the South”
who is to come against Israel in the Last Days?

{See Scriptures revealing the King of the South coming against Israel,
at the bottom of this post.}

In this attached Video, Hal Lindsey makes it very plain and very clear that it is the Kingdom of Islam.

Da 11:5 –
The king of the South will grow powerful, but one of his commanders will grow more powerful and will rule a kingdom greater than his.

Da 11:6 –
After some years they will form an alliance, and the daughter of the king of the South will go to the king of the North to seal the agreement. She will not retain power, and his strength will not endure. She will be given up, together with her entourage, her father, and the one who supported her during those times.

Da 11:7 –
In the place of the king of the South, one from her family will rise up, come against the army, and enter the fortress of the king of the North. He will take action against them and triumph.

Da 11:9
who will enter the kingdom of the king of the South and then return to his own land.

Da 11:11 –
Infuriated, the king of the South will march out to fight with the king of the North, who will raise a great multitude, but the multitude will be handed over to his enemy.

Da 11:14 –
“In those times many will rise up against the king of the South. Violent ones among your own people will assert themselves to fulfill a vision, but they will fail.

Da 11:15 –
Then the king of the North will come, build up an assault ramp, and capture a well-fortified city. The forces of the South will not stand; even their select troops will not be able to resist.

Da 11:25
“With a large army he will stir up his power and his courage against the king of the South. The king of the South will prepare for battle with an extremely large and powerful army, but he will not succeed, because plots will be made against him.

Da 11:40
“At the time of the end, the king of the South will engage him in battle, but the king of the North will storm against him with chariots, horsemen, and many ships. He will invade countries and sweep through them like a flood.

It was in May 2012 that I last wrote about Natural Disasters affecting the world (see HERE) and perhaps being a sign that Christ could soon return, so lets take a look at what has been happening around the world since last May.

It is in Matthew 24 that we see the disciples asking Jesus:

3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

To which Jesus replied:

4 Jesus answered: Watch out that no one deceives you.
5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,a’ and will deceive many.

Christ’s first statement is, “Watch out that no one deceives you”.   Interesting.  Is deception on the rise in the church?  …  for Jesus said many would come in HIS name and deceive many.  If you take a look through my category titled “Charismatic Doctrines: Are They Biblical?” you can see just a couple topics that are currently being preached in Charismatic circles which have no Scriptures as backing.  And this is just one denomination of Christianity.

There are also Christian Leaders who preach that homosexuals can look forward to heaven such as “Alan Chambers President of Exodus International” (see HERE)

And have you heard that Wycliffe seems to be sanitizing the Bible from the Word “Son” when describing  Jesus Christ?  Wycliffe (and other translators perhaps?) are also changing the name of the Father to Allah as well in Muslim countries … or countries where there are a large number of Muslims … to appease Muslim populations, as seen in this translation of Matthew 28:19 — ‘Cleanse them by water in the name of Allah, his Messiah and his Holy
’  Do you think it is okay to change the Names of the God of the Bible in order to appease Muslims?  Do you think the Apostles would have done such?

So, deception … the first sign that Christ said would show that He is Soon To Return … is already here.  And increasing I believe, in the name of “love”, “tolerance”, and “acceptance”.

Next Matthew 24 states:

6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

It is said that the Greek word for NATION is ETHNOS, so that the above verse could read “ethnos will rise against ethnos“, or in other words, ethnicity against ethnicity.

Such is taking place all over the world:

…local groups documented 3,500 civilian dead as of November 15 (2011) in the Syria uprising (see HERE)

July 1, 2012 Reuters reports: “Iran announced missile tests on Sunday and threatened to wipe Israel “off the face of
the earth” if the Jewish state attacked it”

On August 13th, the UK’s Telegraph reports: “A surge of violence in Egypt’s Sinai desert this week is heightening Israeli
concerns about what officials and analysts describe as the growing presence
of al-Qaeda-linked jihadis along the Jewish state’s borders.”

And Christians are still being persecuted in Nigeria as reported HERE:  “Hundreds of Christians have begun fleeing northern Nigeria after dozens were killed in a series of attacks by Islamist militants who issued an ultimatum to Christians to leave the mainly Muslim region or be killed”

A quick google search on the latest uprisings in Nations all over the world will show in detail how hatred and mass killings currently cover the Globe.

Matthew 24 goes on to read:

There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

22 Feb 2012:  “In July 2011 the UN formally declared famine in two regions of Somalia.” (see HERE)

There is a USAID page which shows the following chart:

It is also devastating to read that: Children are being abandoned on Greece’s streets by their poverty-stricken families who cannot afford to look after them any more.” (seen HERE) which seems to tie in to another Sign that Christ predicted would happen just before His Return, when he stated:

12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold …

At least we are not yet seeing what has been predicted in Lamentations 4:

10 With their own hands compassionate women
have cooked their own children,
who became their food
when my people were destroyed.
11 The Lord has given full vent to his wrath; he has poured out his fierce anger.
As we scroll down in Matthew 24 we read:
32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.
33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it (the day of the Christ’s Return) is near, right at the door.
34 I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
We very likely could be that generation which is witnessing the beginning of the End.

Natural disasters seem to be occurring at more frequent rates (see report HERE), the love of people seems to be decreasing even if just because people don’t seem to have enough time to even think of people other than themselves in 1st world countries, and persecution can be found in many countries around the world in varying degrees.

One final, terrifying Sign will be:
15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel…
I still believe that the Church will not be around to see this anti-christ deceiver sitting in the temple in Jerusalem proclaiming himself to be ‘god’, according to 2 Thessalonians 2, which reads:
5 Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things?
6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time.
7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now
it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.
8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.
I believe the “he” found in verse 7 (“til he is taken out of the way”) is the Body of Christ since the Body of Christ will appear WITH Jesus at the end of this age to overthrow this anti-christ deceiver.  Therefore, the Body of Christ must already be in Heaven and have enjoyed the Marriage Supper of the Lamb if the Body is to return with Christ at Christ’s return!

I also see in other Scriptures that the Body of Christ must be taken “out of the way” in order for the Wrath of God to be allowed to be loosed on the Earth, for Christians have been saved from wrath:

9For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. – 1 Thessalonians 5:9
10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth. – or “out of the hour of trial” according to the Darby Translation – Revelation 3:10
… but I am reading the post- and mid-trib writings Readers, so feel free to keep posting Scriptures.

With all of the different Signs happening around the World, I ask:

Will YOU be ready for Christ’s Return?

Please do yourself the greatest favor and think about where you will spend eternity?  Search the Scriptures and see that you must walk in holiness in order to be with the Lord, for I truly desire that you will be in Heaven for all eternity!

Hebrews 12: 4 In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.
5 And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons:
“My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,
6 because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son.”
7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?
8 If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons.
9 Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them
for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and
10Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God
disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness.
11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however,
it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been
trained by it.
12 Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.
13 “Make level paths for your feet,” so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.

14 Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
15 See to it that no one misses the grace of God…

God bless all who are looking for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ!

GEBAL is now known as the region of LEBANON.     Lebanon has long been known for its unrest, with Hezbollah usually at the front of the turmoil, and we know that Hezbollah would love to erase Israel from the face of the Earth if given the chance.

But is Lebanon mentioned in the Bible as part of the Arab Nations who come against Israel in the great End Times war?  Yes it is.  You can read my newest article HERE which tells of Lebanon’s place in Bible Prophecy and its position against Israel.

MOAB is the descendant of Lot who bore Moab through his eldest daughter (Genesis 19:36,37) and Moab is a part of current day JORDAN, East of the Dead Sea.

The City of PETRA is located in Southern Jordan … a city thought to be the place that the Jewish Believers will escape to during the Great Tribulation, even as Jesus states in Luke 21Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains …” and as Revelation 12:6 prophecies: “The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.

But is Jordan mentioned anywhere else in the Bible regarding the End Times and its relation with Israel?

The answer is YES and you can read my article HERE to learn of Jordan’s role in the coming Arab War against Israel, which was been predicted in the Psalms! It is interesting to note how the End Times Nations in this Psalm are currently experiencing revolutions…very interesting indeed!

But did you know that REVOLUTIONS were predicted by Christ when He walked the Earth?  He said that Revolutions would be a sign of and would take place before the End of the Age …  see Luke 21 below.  So as Christians watching the current world events, we MUST remember to keep our thoughts focused on God’s Truths, for Christ also stated that our hearts WOULD be “weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap” if we refuse to keep our focus on Christ our Savior and Protector, by reading His Words and Promises on a consistent or daily basis.

Stay focused Christians.
Keep doing what you are called to do … giving generously, loving one another, walking in holiness, etc.
For our redemption is even closer today than yesterday!
Even so … Come Lord Jesus!  Hallelujah!
